The PTO bearing is shared across the 024–046 STIHL model range, with the smaller saws featuring a machined-down outer lip compared to larger models.
Flywheel Side Bearing (16002) – The unique 16002 bearing measures 15mm inner diameter, 32mm outer diameter, and 8mm height. This thinner bearing is specific to the 026/MS260 platform and is noted as "hard to find" compared to the standard 6202 used on other STIHL models. Standard 6202 bearings commonly used on the 034–046 flywheel side will not fit the 026 flywheel side due to the different outer diameter.
