On a ZTrak 797 or 777 running a 72-inch deck behind a liquid-cooled engine, this is the minimum torque class the driveline demands; a residential-grade clutch would overheat and slip within the first hour of commercial duty.

The 1.125-inch bore is sized specifically for the larger-diameter crankshafts on the Yanmar and John Deere diesel engines powering the ZTrak 7-series. This is a step up from the 1-inch bore used on gasoline-powered residential and prosumer John Deere platforms. A 1-inch clutch will not physically mount on a 1-1/8-inch crankshaft - and forced-fit attempts risk crankshaft journal scoring and clutch hub fracture. This clutch slides onto the ZTrak's diesel crankshaft with the correct interference fit, no adapters, no machining.

One clutch serves the ZTrak 737, 757, 777, and 797 plus the M653, M655, and M665 - the full John Deere commercial zero-turn line - and extends to select Toro Z Master, Exmark Lazer Z, Bobcat, and Husqvarna machines on the shared Warner 5218 architecture. For dealers and fleets operating mixed brands, one SKU covers a substantial portion of the commercial zero-turn install base, eliminating cross-referencing confusion across six-plus OEM part numbers.
