Plunger Sprayer Oil Seal 12X20X5mm

Direct replacement for OEM seals in Annovi Reverberi (AR/RC series), Interpump (W series), CAT Pumps (2SF/3CP), and Comet (AXD/ZWD) triplex plunger pumps. Operates under water and detergent at pump head pressures of 100–250 bar. Water service is inherently low-lubricity - the asymmetric pumping lip geometry is essential here, actively maintaining a hydrodynamic film that prevents dry lip contact and scorching during the plunger's high-speed return stroke. For mobile detailing units and construction-site washers exposed to grit and concrete dust, the TC double-lip variant adds a secondary dust-excluding lip that protects the primary sealing interface.

Fits smaller diaphragm-type sprayer pumps used in knapsack power sprayers, ULV foggers, and greenhouse misting systems. Also compatible with piston-type transfer pumps for liquid fertilizer and mild chemical dosing. In these lower-pressure applications (5–15 bar), the seal's primary role shifts from high-pressure containment to controlled weep lubrication - allowing a microscopic fluid film to pass and lubricate the plunger-diaphragm interface while preventing bulk leakage. The NBR compound's resistance to fertilizer salts and chelated micronutrient solutions prevents the lip hardening and cracking commonly seen with generic nitrile seals in this service.

The dominant application for this seal. 22-30 type triplex plunger pumps - typically driven by 168F or 170F gasoline engines - are the workhorse of orchard, vineyard, paddy, and broadacre crop spraying across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The 12×20×5 mm seal sits directly on the pump's three reciprocating plungers, retaining water-chemical spray mixture at working pressures of 20–50 bar while excluding external dust, mud, and crop residue. The 5 mm cross-section is critical here: field sprayers run 6–10 hours continuously during peak season, and the thicker lip handles the thermal cycling and abrasive particle load far better than a 4 mm seal.
